Alexandra provides individual therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD, and she starts every case from the same place: the relationship comes first, and the techniques follow.
Alexandra sees clients individually, most often for anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD, along with mood disorders and the everyday problems that don’t come with a diagnosis. She is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Social Work at Simmons University while continuing to see clients at CMHS.
She is client-centered and collaborative, and she adapts as she goes. Her methods include CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, narrative therapy, and solution-focused work, always with an eye on the strengths a client already has. The goal is insight that turns into change, not insight for its own sake.
Alexandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She earned her Master of Social Work at Quinnipiac University in 2023 and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, with a minor in business management, at the University of New Haven.
