Heather works with adults who are managing stress, anxiety, or a life transition, and with people working toward sobriety. Often it’s both at the same time.

Heather sees adults individually and in groups. Her background is in addiction treatment, so she’s comfortable with the territory many therapists aren’t: alcohol and drug use, gambling, dual diagnosis, and the anger and relationship strain that come with them. She also sees a lot of people who simply feel stuck and want help building better coping skills. She keeps weekday and evening hours.
She is warm and direct. Her work draws on CBT, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness, and she leans on clients’ strengths rather than starting from what’s wrong.
Heather is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor and holds a Master’s in Human Services from Albertus Magnus College.
