Irene knows that starting therapy can feel daunting, and finding the right therapist even harder. She offers a place to slow down, take a breath, and begin to make sense of what’s been weighing on you.
Irene sees preteens, teens, and adults, in English or Spanish. She works most often with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship issues, and life transitions.
She focuses on what matters most to the client and builds from there. Together you’ll look at the experiences and patterns that shape your world and work out strategies that fit your life, not a textbook. For Irene, therapy is about discovering your strengths and having someone beside you through life’s ups and downs.
Irene earned her Master of Social Work in Clinical Social Work from the University of Connecticut and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Sacred Heart University. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Connecticut.
