Laura is both a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and a licensed marriage and family therapist, which means she can prescribe and she can do the talking part, and she thinks about you as a whole person while doing either.

Laura works with adults of all ages, including older adults, providing psychiatric assessment, medication management, and therapy. She sees a lot of anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, OCD, sleep problems, trauma, and the relationship and women’s health concerns that run alongside them.
An initial visit is a full conversation, usually about an hour, covering what’s going on now, what’s been tried, your physical health, and what you value. From there you build a plan together. When medication makes sense she’ll say so; when a supplement or a change in routine is a better fit, she’ll say that too.
Laura completed her training at Fairfield University and is licensed in Connecticut as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
