Mahoghany’s goal isn’t to fix you or make you forget what happened. It’s to help you get through it in a way that leaves you feeling in control and confident in yourself.

Mahoghany works with children, teens, adults, and families, with a focus on trauma, family conflict, and the ways substance use and mental health feed each other. She pays close attention to the environment around a person, whether that’s home, school, or work, because it usually shapes what’s going on inside.
She favors a motivational, self-guided approach: clients set the goals, she helps clear the obstacles. Her tools include CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, and EMDR for trauma, and she is a certified Multidimensional Family Therapist and a trained recovery coach.
Mahoghany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Connecticut.
