Before he was a therapist, Sam coordinated care in hospice, dementia units, and addiction recovery programs. He brings that experience to clients facing anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief, and the transitions nobody plans for.

About Sam

Sam sees children and adults. He works often with anxiety, depression, and substance use, and has particular experience with OCD, ADHD, trauma, and men who aren’t sure therapy is for them.

His style is practical and collaborative. He uses CBT, acceptance and commitment therapy, and motivational interviewing, along with exposure and response prevention for OCD and Internal Family Systems when old patterns need untangling. Whatever the approach, he wants clients to leave with more agency than they came in with.

Sam earned his Master of Social Work in Clinical Social Work from Sacred Heart University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Bridgeport. He is a Licensed Master Social Worker in Connecticut.

Sam sees clients through CMHS in Milford, CT and via secure telehealth across Connecticut. Not sure who’s the right fit? Our team will match you — start here.
