Shelly McNulty

Licensed Therapist

Shelly McNulty built her career around one question: what individuals actually need — and what’s getting in the way?

For the past two decades, Shelly has worked within the school system in roles spanning School Social Worker, Director of Special Education, and beyond. That experience gives her something most therapists don’t have: a ground-level understanding of how a child’s emotional life plays out not just in sessions, but in classrooms, hallways, IEP meetings, and report cards.

Shelly’s clinical approach is grounded in the belief that every person is a unique individual — not a diagnosis, not a behavior pattern, not a file. She pays close attention to the small details of a person’s experience, because those details ripple across every environment they inhabit.

At Comprehensive Mental Health Solutions, Shelly works with adults, children, adolescents, and families using creative, problem-solving approaches that keep people connected — to their communities, to their potential, and to the people who matter most to them.
